In times of bad weather, we will follow the Hempfield School District.  Please watch WGAL Channel 8 for information.

If the Hempfield School District is closed, St. Leo Preschool will be closed.

If the Hempfield School District has a 2-hour delay, we will observe a modified schedule:  Morning Class:  11:00 - 12:45

                                   Afternoon Class:  1:15 - 3:00

As your child begins the adventure of lifetime learning, let Saint Leo the Great Preschool program help make this experience both enjoyable and educational. Our goal is to provide our children with a positive self image and to bring out God's blessings in each child. Our certified staff emphasizes creativity and discovery through hands-on activitites to help the children learn to reach their potential.

We hope to make your child's learning experience both enjoyable and fruitful. A well-rounded, Christ-centered, calm, peaceful environment is offered to all who enter our doors. Jesus is the model teacher at our preschool.

• Children should have access to various activities
• Teachers work with individual children, small groups and the whole group at different times.
• Children learn numbers and the alphabet in the context of their everyday experiences.
• Teachers adapt curriculum to recognize that children do not learn the same things in the same time in the same way.
