Mini-courses are meant to provide students with experiences of exploratory/educational nature outside of their curriculum. The purpose is for students to explore activities that could become a lifelong interest or hobby. Saint Leo the Great students in grades sixth through eighth participate in mini-courses at selected times as part of their school day.  Teachers, staff members, and volunteers offer a variety of mini-courses: Cooking, Managing Stress, Photography, Computers, Field Hockey, Quiz Bowl, Volleyball, Money Management, Advertising, and Sewing.
