Instrument Music Lessons

Lancaster Catholic High School (LCHS) offers students from grades 4-8 have the opportunity to take instrumental music lessons as well as perform throughout the year at LCHS. Lessons are 20 minutes long once a week at a minimal cost. All students are able to participate in the “Purple Band”, which performs once a year (Spring Concert). Students in grades 6-8 who have been taking lessons for more than 2 years may participate in the “Gold Band”, which performs twice throughout the year (Christmas Concert and Spring Concert).

School Musical

Every year students in grades 3-8 have the opportunity to audition and participate in the Saint Leo the Great School Spring Musical. Students who participate dedicate time after school for months to rehearse lines, learn choreography, and put the show together. Students in 6th-8th grade also have the opportunity to assist with the stage crew and help build sets and props to be used in the show as well as helping to keep things running smoothly backstage during performances. The musical is a great way for students to work with others from different grades, and to use their gifts and talents to put together a theatrical performance.

Student Talent Show

The annual school talent show, open to all students from PreK through 8th grade, is a highlight of Catholic Schools Week. Held every year on the Friday of Catholic Schools Week.  This event showcases the incredible talents of our students, from singing and dancing to magic tricks and musical performances. It’s a wonderful opportunity for students to shine on stage, celebrate their creativity, and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with friends and family!
