Saint Leo the Great School offers an early introduction to faith, socialization, fun and age-appropriate education through our Pre-Kindergarten program. The Pre-K program is designed to prepare your child for Kindergarten in a loving and caring Catholic environment. Pre-K families will be able to choose from either 5 half days per week or 5 full days per week for 4 year olds. The half day program will be from 8:25 am (with drop off beginning at 8 am) to 11:20 am and the full day program will be from 8:25 am (with drop off beginning at 8am) to 3:00 pm to coincide with our K through 8th grade school day. The program will follow a developmentally appropriate curriculum designed by the Diocese of Harrisburg that fosters the child’s growth in all areas: spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional and physical. Students entering our Pre-K program must be 4 years old as of September 1st of the 2023-2024 academic year. After being a stay-at-home mom of six for 15 years, Mrs. Dusablon is coming back to the classroom. She is very excited to be teaching Pre-K. Before becoming a mom, Mrs. D has taught all over the country in many different states. She has taught ages birth to high school. She is looking forward to teaching our youngest learners to shine brightly in the classroom at Saint Leo the Great. It will be a year of magical wonder and amazing growth for our little ones both in their faith and academically. She is over the moon to encourage the students in her classroom to reach for the stars.
Mrs. Dusablon just moved back to her hometown of Lancaster in 2021 with amazing husband, Matt, and six beautiful children, Caden, Olivia, Sophia, Mason, Dylan, and Emma. They have lived all over the country the last 20 years due to her husband’s military career. Her children attend Lancaster Catholic High School and Saint Leo the Great. Mrs. Dusablon was a 2000 gradute of LCHS. Her husband and her are very excited to be back in their hometown to raise their children. Mrs. Dusablon loves spending time at the beach, vacationing, and the sports fields with her family. Also, she loves a good day of shopping or a pampering day with her daughters. She enjoys reading a good book with her toes in the sand on a warm beach day. She loves a hot or cold cup of coffee anytime of the day. Rainy days are the best when snuggling up with her family and a movie. It is rare, but date nights with her husband are also the best! Mrs. Dusablon loves and lives by, “If you want to change the world, go home and love your family.” Mother Teresa.
